FI Scouts was created by a small team of two, Christian and Liz. What started out as a personal project quickly developed into a real-life application when we met via Twitter while griping about the lack of finance apps available specifically for the FIRE community.
With Liz being a Designer and Christian an iOS Engineer, and both of us being personal finance bloggers at the time, it seemed like the perfect match to create something to fill the void for the FIRE community.
At the end of 2020, while worlds apart [Christian based in Australia and Liz in Norway], we embarked on a journey to design and develop this app. And we’re proud to say that we still continue to update and fine tune the features as we learn more of what you want and need when it comes to your FIRE goals!
